Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze tender documents including drawings, BOQ, and specifications to identify project scope and estimation requirements. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil and MEP infrastructure projects. Coordinate with design, procurement, and engineering teams to gather required inputs for accurate estimation. Solicit and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for technical and commercial compliance. Prepare comparative statements and recommend technically and commercially viable options. Support the preparation of bid proposals, pricing schedules, and submission documentation in line with client requirements. Conduct risk assessment and support value engineering during the estimation stage. Ensure compliance with local authority standards (DEWA, RTA, DM, ADM, etc.) in estimation and tender documents. Maintain a database of historical project costs and supplier/subcontractor pricing for future reference. Participate in tender clarifications, post-tender negotiations, and technical meetings as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 9+ years of experience in estimation for infrastructure projects in the UAE (roads, utilities, drainage, substations, etc.). Proficiency in estimation software such as CCS Candy, MS Excel, AutoCAD. Sound knowledge of market rates, material specifications, and construction methodologies. Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
