Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Estimation Engineer

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, reviewing technical submittals, and ensuring quality control standards across ongoing projects. This role is critical to ensuring both cost-efficiency and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to prepare detailed cost estimates for automation, access control, and security systems. Source material and subcontractor quotations, and prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals. Coordinate with the sales and project team to ensure alignment between client requirements and estimation scope. Attend site visits and technical meetings as required.

QA/QC

Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and installation procedures to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications. Conduct site inspections and quality audits during execution and commissioning phases. Monitor contractor and internal team adherence to QA/QC processes and document all quality-related activities. Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering. Minimum years of relevant experience in estimation and quality control within the automation or security system industry (e.g., automatic doors, bollards, access control). Strong technical knowledge of access control systems, electromechanical components, and low-current infrastructure. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software tools. Excellent understanding of UAE and GCC construction codes and quality standards.
