MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To support the senior corporate engineering team with various ongoing company wide engineering projects
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Guide and support business unit technical teams with ongoing building and equipment maintenance projects

Manage and support technical projects for allocated business units/expansions

Manage and mitigate technical operational risks

Support the management and related governance associated with on-site contractors

Guide and support operational technical teams with relevant feedback and project related problem solving

Support the monitoring of project budget and related expenses

Support various Environmental, Health and Safety matters

Provide relevant feedback to senior team and ensure action plans are in place to prevent delays on project deliverables
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification as minimum requirement
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 5-8 years' relevant experience of which at least 3 years in a Healthcare setting

Experience in a hospital or similar environment

Experience in project management, budgets and financial control
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Interpretation of requirements and technical specification documentation
Technical Operations
Budgeting and financial Management
Extensive knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety standards and protocols
Preventative maintenance
