Our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) facility at Al Reyadah has the capacity to capture 800,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) from Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) each year, for use in the Bab and Rumaitha oil fields to support Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). Al Reyadah is, therefore, a critical enabler of ADNOCaEUR(TM)s 2030 sustainability goals.

Job Purpose

Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and shutdowns to maintain static and rotating equipment effectively and efficiently to achieve high degree of availability, reliability and integrity for plant production.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Maintenance Planning, Execution and Expertise . Supervise the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and modification activities of mechanical stationary and rotating equipment in the plant to ensure safe and efficient services. . Review preventive maintenance plans / schedules and prepare task list / maintenance programmes for mechanical equipment in the plant and supervise the execution of such programmes. . Provide guidance and advice on actions to be taken on chronic problems, and review requirement for major repair and spares replacements to ensure that all equipment is in accordance with internationally recognized engineering standard. . Participate in Risk Assessment exercises and prepare recommendations and guidelines to address the findings. . Ensure availability of spares, coordinate and follow-up new material orders. Create new proposal for stocking spares (PFS) mainly for new equipment, create item change request, spare parts control, and delete unwanted inventories from the stock. . Prepare new maintenance procedures, method statement for new activities and schedule long term activities as per plant shutdown schedules. . Plan and coordinate Mechanical Maintenance activities with other departments and sections to optimize the utilization of section manpower and to plan and control the major & minor shutdown activities and expenditures. . Provide technical support for development, implementation and commissioning of new projects in the mechanical design and specifications to optimize costs and ensure compliance with applicable standards and best practices. . Prepare new plant change requests (PCR), study the proposed PCR for implementation and work out plans and schedules for implementing them.

Minimum Qualification

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
