Job Description

• Estimate and prepare BOQ as per site visit.
• Meeting with clients to finalize BOQ, PRICE , MATERIAL ETC.
• Coordinate to prepare shop drawings and submit to client for approval.
• Study job specifications to develop appropriate construction program.
• Prepare construction schedule in logical steps to meet deadlines.
• Interpret and explain construction plans to Site Engineers and Technicians (Foremen & Supervisors) on site.
• Assess manpower and material & tools requirements and prepare plans accordingly.
• Arranging the quotations for tendering the projects through procurement dept.
• Arranging the samples and technical data for submittal to get the consultant's approval.
• Preparing and implementation of Method of Statements for each activities.
• Prepare material request as per the approved drawing to order the material.
• Make sure that proper comparison is made for materials before placing the order.
• Preparing inspection request & Conduct the inspections of Products, installations, finishing & fit out work.
• Attending the technical meetings with the engineering dept., the supplier/subcontractor , client and owners to finalize technical issues & Quality issues etc.
• Shortlisting the sub-contractor as per the budget and technical grounds.
• Monitor status of material submittal, shop drawing submittal and procurement schedule update.
• Regular follow up with procurement Dept. for Material Requests.
• Supervision and quality Inspection of fit out work at site (Rendering, tile, marble work, Vinyl, Carpet, parquet flooring , False ceiling & gypsum wall partition, painting, wall paper, decorative GRG work in ceiling, Glass partition work etc.
• Constant follow up & co-coordination with Sub Contractors to execute the work as per required quality & specification.
• Ensure the efficient and correct execution of all works compiled with approved drawings.
• Conduct on site meetings with Supervisors, Foremen and Technicians to review progress.
• Prepare daily & weekly report including time sheets, progress and productivity.
• Closely follow up with the suppliers till the material is delivered.
• Coordinating with the store keeper and keeping a check on materials delivered.
• Plan and schedule the completion of the work.
• Keeping track of material Budget for the projects.
• Preparing check list to monitor site activities and to maintain the quality work at site.
• Updating the site staff about the materials delivery schedule.
• Taking work shop meeting with site workers and guide them to maximum utilization of material and equipment's with safety and minimum Wastage to get more productivity.
• Tracking the pending issues with procurement team, site team consultant and client.
• Coordinating with transport department if transporation is required.
• Monitoring of all MEP installation activities like AC ducting, Plumbing works, Firefighting equipment, chilled water supply & returns, electrical concealed works etc.

Eligibility :

• Must have minimum 4-8 years of UAE as Senior Engineer in managing Building & Fit-Out projects.
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Valid UAE Driving License is required.
• English communication is a must.
• Preference will be given for those who can join immediately on visit visa or cancelled visa.

Experience:
