Lead, Own and steer the execution of the Global Brand Strategy throughout Emerging Markets, delivering against all relevant Brand KPIs. Ensure execution excellence and consistent deployment of a holistic brand marketing plan across all communication channels, Retail, PR, Digital, Sport Marketing and Media in alignment with Global and EM Brand Activation Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Market Brand activation team (planning & media activation, sports marketing, Omnichannel marketing and digital activation)
Build, lead and develop a highly engaged team (incl. succession planning)
Ensure integration & team cooperation with globally managed EIM and Newsrooms teams (where available)
Provide functional guidance & direction to Market BU Comms and Cluster/country Brand activation directors
Manage the framework for the categories and channels to act and operate within the brand calendars and drive coordination for providing input from the market / BU\xe2\x80\x98s into the global brand calendar.
Drive and lead the MWB allocation process across BUs and Clusters/Country and coordinate input into global functions (e.g. BMP)
Ensure excellence in paid media & traffic marketing including shared KPI framework and management of media effectiveness program
Drive the translation of the global sports marketing strategy into a market framework in which the BU\xe2\x80\x98s will operate
Ensure excellence of seasonal concept activations at point of purchase in all retail channels (wholesale, own retail, franchise,
) * Ensure the creation of a framework to capture seasonal learnings to create inputs to OMA in Global CTC to help create better tools for the future
Drive global VM guidelines for DTC and derive principles covering specific market wholesale channel needs
Enable increased digital thinking across the brand/BU\xe2\x80\x99s in order to increase qualitative traffic to .com * Drive the optimization of the different digital consumer touchpoints through the full funnel by driving the execution locally relevant digital campaigns
Ensure global CRM strategies are adapted and developed into local context and existing operational market programs (eCOM)
Drive joint partnership with key actors in social and digital landscape
Consolidate comms requirements and brief global Brand management
Define seasonal calendar and obtain sign-off from Global Brand management
Handover seasonal calendar at range introduction meeting
Approve BU campaigns\xe2\x80\x99 creatives
Sign-off seasonal calendar at range introduction meeting
Monitor the execution of the MWB plan according to BMP
Oversee and drive comprehensive digital marketing strategy for the country/cluster/market; find synergies where applicable between country/cluster/market
Oversee Media Activation strategy for country/market including all planning, buying, and partnerships
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to develop and implement strategy
Proven leadership and management abilities especially in managing a diverse team (incl. remote management)
Strong presentation/communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization.
Broad Marketing experience, with a distinct track record of success and high-level Brand Communication knowledge
Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions (e.g. marketing, sales, etc.) and support functions (finance preferred), as well as different organizational levels (Global, Market, etc.)
Strong industry knowledge, across divisions\xe2\x80\x94footwear, apparel and accessories\xe2\x80\x94and across all BUs.
Expert understanding of markets\xe2\x80\x99 consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience in marketing required. Regional experience preferred.
University degree in Marketing or equivalent professional experience, MBA preferred
Previous experience in managing a global matrix organization required
Sporting goods industry experience required
Fluent in English
International work and cultural experience; substantial experience working in regional teams
