Job Description
Main Responsibilities: Implement End to End Digitalization Projects in the assigned region, collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure high Quality, timely delivery and within assigned budgets. Compliance and Code of Conduct:
- Actively represent BASF Group interests and act as a role model with regards to Compliance and Code of conduct, ensure adherence to legal regulations and the company’s internal guidelines as well CORE values and principles
- Ensure On Time delivery and Tech Follow-up with various Teams, developers etc.
- Knowledge of Application Project management in BASF
- Knowledge of Application Project management in a corporate company in Digitalization area
- Expert knowledge in one or many Digital web Technologies, AI, Robotics, ERP, Functional Applications like HRMS, CRM, Digital Analytics, database, Cloud technologies Azure or AWS, MS Suit of applications in O365
- Project Organizational Skills in Project Planning, scoping, realization, chairing meetings, driving topics and tasks, stakeholder reporting.
- Good Knowledge of Agile Process of Project Management
- Knowledge of Testing and Scouting for new technologies and best practice
- Scope Preparation, lessons learnt and closing projects & sign Off’s Documentation and negotiation skills
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- Project Management responsibility for Digital Transformation initiatives in Web 2.0 and Web 3.0
- Strategic and operational responsibility for Digital stream - Cloud (AWS, Azure), RPA, Automation, AI/Cognitive & DevOps technologies.
- Develop a clear goal for digital products, working with the Executive leadership to set clear targets and measure progress towards them.
- Manage the projects for digital transformation and ensure projects are delivered within agreed quality standards, risk parameters, timescales and budgets using Agile, lean and waterfall project methodologies.
- Align technical operations with application/service models across industry markets and leading IT process and organizational re-engineering programs or project streams.
- Lead diverse project teams including client, advisory, and third-party and across global regions.
- Define architect IT services as they relate to Infrastructure processes with an ability to relate IT services in business terms. Build business cases and justify IT improvements.
- Engage in practice building activities, improving internal solution sets, methods, and resources.
- keep on the leading edge of innovation and trends in cloud computing tools and techniques.
- Technology scouting by leading the identification, engagement, and selection of latest as well existing technologies for Digitalization initiatives
- Flexibility in timing depending on criticality of the situation and quality
- Good service orientation & Positive work attitude
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or Business Computing or equivalent
- 10+ years in a corporate, IT environment, preferably BASF
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
- Basic SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general Web 2.0 techniques experience.
- Ability to diagnose application issues
- Well, Organized in terms of documentation
- Agile mindset
- ITIL, PMP, Cisco or MCSE/MCSD
- Experienced in interaction with different cultures and teams across countries and third-party partners
- Taking ownership for Goals and proposing alternative solutions within frameworks and design
- Team player and focus in delivering goals
- Good Communications skills and ability to give prompt feedback
- Out of the box solutions thinker
- Self-management
