We are currently looking for a Senior CAD Specialist to enhance our capabilities for building infrastructure projects in UAE.

We are currently looking for a Senior CAD Specialist to enhance our capabilities for building infrastructure projects in UAE.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
- Undertake drafting work for civil engineering projects
- Review detailed design, shop drawings and as built drawings for civil engineering structures
- Support assignments on a multi-disciplinary project within teams of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical
- Be able to interact positively with both senior and junior people alike and within the client environment
- Be progressive, imaginative, and enthusiastic in the work and strive to add value where possible for the benefit of the company and our clients
Candidate Specification
- Degree/Diploma qualified in any engineering discipline
- Familiarity in Civil 3D modelling and visualisation
- Experience in the production of 3-D modelled BIM schemes using AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
- Must have experience on the use of computer aided drafting software, and be proficient in MicroStation and especially the use of x-refs, blocks, layers and be confident enough to become conversant in Mott MacDonald and our client’s drawing standards and procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail Skilled in IT (i.e., Microsoft Windows 7 and office packages) and able to provide IT support to other colleagues in the division
- Ability to work independently with low to medium supervision
- Experience within a consultancy environment specifically in the Civil Engineering industry is preferred
