Job Overview: The Senior Subcontracts Specialist is a key Role from start to Project closeout. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Prepare Subcontract deliverables include Project Procedures Prepare RFQ Packages, CBE and coordinate TBE Assist Subcontract Manager /Sr. Subcon Specialist to award contract. Follow-up with periodic progress and assist payment Essential Qualifications and Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 3-5 years progressively responsible experience in Subcontract activities in technical and EPCS Ability to prepare negotiation strategies / techniques and participate / lead negotiations Good knowledge of project subcontract execution Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; meets commitments Good Time Management Skills Good Communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office Program Strong Prioritization Organization Skills Ability to Handle Confidential Information Multitask and a Team Player Company Overview and Core Values: McDermott is a premier, fully-integrated provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry.
