We are seeking an experienced
Senior Design Engineer
with a strongMechanical and MEP background
to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise invilla projects and data centers
, ensuring compliance with international standards and UAE regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems for MEP projects. Prepare and review
design calculations, technical specifications, and detailed drawings
. Ensure designs comply withASHRAE, NFPA, and UAE local codes
. Coordinate with electrical and civil teams for integrated MEP solutions. Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings. Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize design efficiency. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for design approvals and clarifications. Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to quality standards.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum
8-10 years of experience
in mechanical design for MEP projects. Proven experience invilla projects and data center mechanical systems
. Proficiency inAutoCAD, Revit, and design software
; knowledge ofPrimavera P6
is an advantage. Strong understanding of HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, and piping design. Familiarity with UAE construction standards and international codes. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.UAE experience preferred
; valid UAE driving license is an advantage.Job Type: Full-time
