to join our engineering team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical building services design, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, with a proven track record of working on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting.
Develop MEP design documentation for various project stages: concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation.
Ensure compliance with local UAE codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, and international standards.
Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural elements and with other disciplines.
Work closely with contractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure design approvals and site implementation.
Perform site visits, inspections, and respond to technical queries during construction.
Provide value engineering solutions to optimize performance and cost.
Assist in preparation of BOQs and technical specifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of MEP design experience in the UAE.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Elite, and other HVAC/plumbing calculation tools.
Strong knowledge of UAE local regulations (DEWA, DM, ADM, etc.).
Excellent understanding of HVAC system selection and sizing, ductwork design, chilled water systems, ventilation requirements, and fire protection systems.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
