Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Quality Engineer (Mechanical Rotating)
to join our office-based quality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical rotating equipment within the oil and gas industry.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support quality assurance activities related to rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines). Review and approve vendor quality documentation (ITPs, WPS, QAPs, etc.). Coordinate and monitor third-party inspections and factory acceptance tests (FAT). Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.). Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analyses. Interface with procurement, engineering, and project teams for quality-related matters. Maintain and improve internal quality systems and documentation. Provide mentoring and guidance to junior quality team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field. 15+ years of experience in quality engineering with a focus on rotating equipment in the oil and gas sector. Deep knowledge of international mechanical standards (API, ASME, ISO). Strong communication and documentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
