We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cost Consultant Subject Matter Expert with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. As a Cost Consultant Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. Your in-depth knowledge of industry-specific cost drivers, regulations, and best practices will be instrumental in helping our clients make informed decisions and optimize their financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert cost estimation and budgeting support to clients within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for optimization.
Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate cost models and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Analyze cost drivers and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure accurate cost estimations and financial analysis.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored cost consultancy services.
Conduct regular cost reviews and audits to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate cost analysis findings to clients and other stakeholders.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to junior consultants and team members.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Cost Consultant or similar role within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
In-depth knowledge of cost estimation methodologies, budgeting processes, and financial analysis techniques.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, including key cost drivers, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven track record of successfully delivering cost estimation and financial analysis projects within the industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in financial modeling and cost estimation software.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
