Overview:

G42 Healthcare is an Abu Dhabi based health technology company active across data and AI, digital health, advanced OMICS, pharma, diagnostics and environmental sciences.

G42 Healthcare has recently merged with the healthcare arm of the Abu Dhabi Sovereign Fund Mubadala (Mubadala Health) creating a unique organisation with over 7,000 staff spanning omics, technology and healthcare provision.

G42 Healthcare is also the facilitator of the 1 million Emirati Genome Program, operating an NGS facility that can deliver over 500,000 whole genome sequences per annum. We have recently launched a regional partnership with Somalogic, establishing the first high-throughput proteomics facility in the Middle East, and also own the local Health Information Exchange called Mallafi.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Product Specialist to join our Real World Data Analytics and Evidence Platform Team. In this role, you will be a crucial contributor to the development and success of our platform, with a specific focus on clinical data analysis and insights generation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, engineers, and domain experts, you will shape the future of our product and deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for clinical data within the Real World Data Analytics and Evidence Platform Team.
  • Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define and prioritize product requirements and roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of clinical data sources, such as electronic health records (EHRs) and claims data, to uncover valuable insights and trends.
  • Develop analytical models, algorithms, and data visualization techniques to extract meaningful information from clinical data and provide actionable insights to users.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to establish robust data processing pipelines, data integration strategies, and data quality assurance processes for clinical data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the clinical data domain, including data standards, regulations, and industry trends, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and enhance the product.
  • Engage in user testing, feedback gathering, and iterative design processes to ensure a seamless user experience and continuously improve product features and functionality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders regarding clinical data-related inquiries and challenges.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts and insights into easily understandable terms for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, biomedical informatics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience, at least 3-5 years, working with clinical data, preferably in real-world data analytics or evidence generation in pharmaceutical and life sciences industry or clients.
  • Strong understanding of clinical data sources, including EHRs, claims data, and clinical trial data, as well as related data standards like HL7 and CDISC.
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and data visualization tools for clinical data.
  • Skilled in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling.
  • Familiarity with data integration, data processing, and data quality assurance methodologies for large-scale clinical datasets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices concerning the use of clinical data in healthcare research and analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or life sciences industries is a must.
