Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Senior Cost Accountant

to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost accounting activities, analyzing manufacturing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting key financial decisions. This role plays a crucial part in budget planning, inventory valuation, and financial performance monitoring.

Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documentation, and records for all manufacturing operations. Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. Monitor, review, and analyze inventory transactions and inventory valuation. Perform month-end and year-end close activities related to cost accounting. Prepare detailed cost analysis reports and present key findings to management. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including standard cost updates and variance analysis. Identify inefficiencies or areas of improvement in production and suggest process improvements. Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory control teams to ensure accuracy in cost data and reporting. Assist in new product costing and profitability analysis.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Solid understanding of inventory control, BOM, WIP, and production processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
