Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and monitor
costs of raw materials, production, packaging, labor, and logistics
specific to F&B operations.
Develop and maintain
cost accounting systems
, reports, and procedures.
Prepare accurate
cost estimates
, budgets, and variance analyses to support pricing and profitability strategies.
Review production and operational processes to identify
cost-saving opportunities
.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual
inventory analysis and reconciliations
.
Coordinate and lead
physical stock takes
, ensuring proper costing and valuation.
Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to ensure
cost transparency
.
Prepare management reports, including
cost of goods sold (COGS)
and
gross margin analysis
.
Ensure compliance with
IFRS
, internal controls, and local regulatory standards related to food production costing.
Provide support during
audits
, and explain costing processes and discrepancies.
Assist in setting
standard costs
and regularly update as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
Minimum
3-5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant
, with at least 2 years in the
Food & Beverages industry
.
Strong knowledge of
manufacturing costing, food safety standards, and supply chain accounting
.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
Hands-on experience in

batch-based production

Understanding of
recipe-based costing
