Roles.

Liaising with all Project Stakeholders, the Commercial Director will be responsible for managing overall Pre- and Post-Contract services.

Responsibilities.

Commercial Project Lead - Pre & Post Contract.

Managing the project Cost Consultant.

Consulting between client departments and all Project Stakeholders

Project reporting including budget, cash flow forecasts, cost reports, reconciliation of payments and forecast final accounts.

Participate in weekly design and commercial workshops.

Monitor ongoing design development and track cost increases / savings.

Review, coordinate, and validate cost estimates prepared by the Cost Consultant at each design gateway.

Management of client appointed Procurement Agent on commercial related matters.

Prepare and manage all aspects of developing contract documents with client and the Lead Design Consultant

Contract Administration of all design and construction contracts

Oversee, monitor, and report contracts administration performance of Consultants and Construction Supervisors.

Advise, review & oversee RFP & Contract input by others (Lead Design Consultant)

Provide contractual input in reviewing, defending, negotiating, and responding to any design and construction claims.

Oversee contractual and commercial aspects of Project Close-out.

Experience.

Sound knowledge of cost planning, contract and commercial administration and management of similar projects.

15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.

Minimum 7 years\' relevant Middle East experience required.

Experienced user of MS Office and Aconex.

Experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g., FIDIC.

Fluency in English language both written and spoken.

Qualification.

Undergraduate degree and membership of a recognised International Professional Body e.g. MRICS
