tkIS Egypt is one of the subsidiaries of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions, which knows as a leading contractor for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Lump Sum Turn Key chemical plants. tkIS-Egypt was founded in 2004 primarily to expand the local presence and establish closer relationship to the customers in Egypt, Middle East and North Africa. Your responsibilities
Support sales team during the bidding phase in terms of commercial clarification, T&Cs according to tk standards
Communicate with relevant BUs as well as stakeholders i.e. (TAX/LEX/CO-FIN) in preparation for project approvals (TRA)
Set up up-front the commercial strategy including tax, cash-flow, commitment coverage, insurance coverage as part of project assessment bidding phase
Set up project together with PM as well as initiate mobilization of key resources
Initiate customer contact on commercial, attend customer meeting
Assure tax and IPA concept is available and in line with the contract structure, specially concerning all onshore activities
Follow up procurement progress and challenge budgets as well as cost to complete in line with procurement progress
Coordinate the procurement and sub-contractors payment terms in consideration of main contract(s) T&Cs
Proper cash flow planning as well as commitment management
Work closely with CCM and make sure the availability of assigned qualified personnel for CCM of the project in execution
Define and coordinate regarding requirements on delegation of expatriates and align with PM, CM, HR/IPA
Give input to terms and conditions for procurement and subcontracting
Continuously review progress on site and monitor budgets for site activities, remaining man-months, cost to complete, with PM and commercial site management and Commercial approval of supplier and sub-contractor invoices according to local authority matrix.
Your profile
Job specification:
BSc Degree in related field
Experience in Chemical/Petrochemical EPC of not less than 7 years
High level in English language (spoken & written)
Leadership Skills
Has experience in Commercial execution for EPC Projects
Has a good knowledge using SAP
