JOB PURPOSE Requirement for senior engineer resource specifically skilled in the detailed design, build, implementation, and turnover to production of: Microsoft Cloud Environment (Azure, Azure Stack, Microsoft 365) On-Premise Windows Server 2019 and above environments Microsoft Exchange KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the Implementation of Cloud Security Solutions, and incident response based on red / blue team requirements. Implement security architectures for cloud cloud/hybrid systems, and apply security hardening bassline like (CIS or Stig..etc). Responsible for configuring security controls on cloud environments Employ cloud-based APIs when suitable to write network/system level tools for safeguarding cloud environments Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls with a special focus on cloud security vendors, platforms and systems Integrators. Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the companys Cloud offerings. A mind-set and desire to confidently hand over into operational support with pride. Technical deployment expertise in using various monitoring, management, and capacity planning tools. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills; capable of writing technical documentation, acting as a vendor liaison, work closely with Senior Implementation Engineers and peers. Maintains and evangelizes strong values of integrity, commitment, and self-improvement to self and others KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Candidates must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of installation and configuration in one or more of the following core technologies: AWS, Azure Stack and Microsoft 365 Microsoft 365 Defender and Endpoint Azure Information Protection Azure AIP, and Intune. Microsoft Azure Cloud Security Posture Management On-prem Microsoft Exchange Must be able to demonstrate experience with: Integration with eco-systems such as (Monitoring, Identity access management, Privileged access management, Log management) Windows ecosystem security best practices Server hardware e.g. Cisco UCS, Dell, HPE Scripting: PowerShell, Python is preferred. Certification Requirements Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is preferred Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or Architect AWS Certified Security Specialty is preferred Minimum Work Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical capability, with at least 2 years in a Cloud Security role, preferably working for an IT Services or Systems Integration organisation Education Good degree level qualification in Computer Science or related field Vertical Technology
