Austero Interiors LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Carpenter with proven expertise in interior fit-out, bespoke joinery, and premium finishing works. The ideal candidate will be capable of executing complex carpentry tasks independently, maintaining superior quality standards, and supervising junior carpenters on active project sites.
This role is suited for professionals with hands-on site experience in UAE/GCC projects and a strong understanding of high-end interior detailing and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Execute advanced carpentry works including fabrication, installation, and finishing of interior fit-out elements
Construct and install doors, frames, wall partitions, cabinets, wardrobes, counters, display units, and custom joinery
Ensure accurate alignment, precise fitting, and high-quality finishing across all carpentry works
Perform complex cutting, shaping, assembly, and installation using MDF, solid wood, veneer, laminate, and allied materials
Read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, and site details accurately
Supervise and guide junior carpenters, ensuring productivity and workmanship standards
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades (gypsum, electrical, painting, etc.)
Ensure works are completed within approved timelines, safety guidelines, and quality standards
Operate woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, edge banders, sanders, and cutting machines
Carry out high-end finishing works such as sanding, polishing, veneer application, edge finishing, and laminate installation
Experience & Requirements
5-8 years of proven UAE/GCC experience in interior fit-out and advanced joinery works
Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, retail, or commercial fit-out projects
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong understanding of materials, tools, machines, and modern carpentry techniques
Proven leadership ability to manage and mentor junior carpenters
Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills
Valid UAE driving license - mandatory
Immediate or short notice period preferred
