Senior Carpenter

Marine Experience is mandatory

6months duration Sponsorship after successful probation

Key Responsibilities

Perform repair, fabrication, and finishing of wood, laminates, and marine-grade materials for yachts and boats.

Execute custom furniture and interior fittings based on project requirements and design specifications.

Supervise and guide junior carpenters and helpers during tasks.

Inspect, measure, and prepare materials to ensure minimal waste and cost efficiency.

Conduct preventive maintenance of wooden components onboard vessels.

Ensure adherence to safety, durability, and finishing quality in all carpentry works.

Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor, electricians, and technicians to complete integrated projects.

Maintain tools and equipment in proper condition.

Provide input on material requirements and support procurement requests.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or vocational certification in Carpentry/Joinery.

5+ years of carpentry experience (marine or furniture/interiors sector preferred).

Strong knowledge of marine-grade wood, laminates, and finishing techniques.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts, and measurements.

Skilled in both manual and power tools.

Supervisory experience (mentoring junior carpenters).

Attention to detail, precision, and finishing.

Team player with strong communication skills.

Compensation

Monthly Salary: (as per company grading).
