Job Summary

Work in the capacity of a Senior Buyer for Supply Chain, reporting to the EHO Supply Chain Manager. Procure and schedule for incoming supplies from various global suppliers in order to support customer requirements while achieving on time deliveries with best quality and price and in lowest lead times while adhering to the company\'s policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure a consistent and adequate supply of materials that is necessary for all assembly orders and sales orders while maintaining inventory goals and lead times.
• Execute planned MRP messages within stipulated frequencies.
• Issue Purchase orders to appropriate vendors globally.
• Review unusual Demand orders and work with OST and vendors to ensure promised deliveries are met.
• Identify inventory utilization opportunities (convert / rework items etc) and make recommendations for safety stock/ MOQ/Forecast adjustments etc.
• Effectively communicate order priorities and level load vendor machine shops as and when needed and communicate back to OST and Supply Chain on any changes in planned deliveries.
• Update order statuses on Apex in a timely manner.
• Develop new suppliers as and when needed.
• Identify problematic supply sources by continuous risk assessment and find alternative sources for items categorized as High risk.
• Monitor vendor performance on a quarterly basis and work with vendors to analyse root causes and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead and participate in daily / weekly meetings with the department and with vendors.
• Other duties and responsibilities as business needs demand.

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:

Essential

• Engineering Degree
• Minimum 3 years\' experience in Planning/Purchasing role.
• Minimum 3 years\' experience in sourcing globally and in planning for a production shop.
• Firsthand experience with customer service and vendor management
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Desirable

• Supply Chain degree (CSCP/CPIM).
• Oil and Gas experience.
• India vendor exposure.
• Power BI report building.
