Job Title Senior Business Analyst - Acquiring

Work as part of the Client Services team and be the primary contact person for clients to work on technical and functional matters that come up as a form of daily queries. Work with multiple internal and Vendor teams like support, product, development etc on client needs to help drive new solutions, software tools, problem resolution, and upsell opportunities. Document best practices for client-specific needs.

A successful person will display high levels of Business Acumen, relationship building and consultative-selling skills. They will possess the technical capability to handle incoming inquiries and provide guidance to clients. Shows an understanding of card payments primarily acquiring transaction flows along with SME level expertise on IPG / Omnipay / B24 platforms.

Experienced in serving banking customers on payment platforms and is able to interact with varying client departments IT/PMO/Operations/finance/Business. Acts as the first point of contact for service issues on multi-client processing platform with 24*7 availability (when required).

Job Responsibilities

Assures client satisfaction by maintaining overall relationship with clients

Handle client escalations

Identifies, analyses, researches, and resolves inquiries on all aspects of the business

Ensures complete and prompt resolution for moderate to complex inquiries from clients directly and other areas within Fiserv.

Effectively interact and communicate with various cross functional departments.

Provide consultation to clients on Fiserv products and provide technical, functional, and operational support thus acting as a single point of contact for acquiring and issuing business.

Conduct client visits

Advice business partners on available go to market solutions and work with them to draft business requirements for new business development (pre-sales support)

Analyse business needs to suggest clients on new features and system enhancements and advise on the impacts.

Partner with external business stakeholders on defining problem statements and work with internal teams to provide practical and well-rounded solutions.

Conduct impact analysis of scheme compliance and other industry standards (PSD2/PCI etc.) around card payments.

KPI reporting

Handle and troubleshoot critical incidents, interface with development, operations, and support teams and engage with senior management for escalation purposes both internally and externally on client side

Create and maintain accurate and up to date Client profiles to include contract information, communication logs, and product matrix

Analyse and monitor the Client\xe2\x80\x99s processing to identify and implement solutions that create operational efficiency and/or cost savings.

Act as consultant- expected to understand client system parameters and configuration settings.

Attend on-going trainings.

Candidate Requirements (Must Have)

Previous payments/cards industry experience in a client-facing role

Successful technical support and relationship management experience

High degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Ability to work in a virtual environment while travelling; i.e. solid time management, organization, negotiation and influence skills

Proven analytical and decision-making abilities

Able to proactively identify business opportunities and persuasively influence both internal and external constituents

Superior teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills

Developed information seeking skills and ability to communicate for results

Advanced negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills

Understand new trends & metrics in cards/payment industry.

Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills

Executive-level written and verbal communication, and customer interaction skills

Ability to translate technical communications into client facing material

Strong organization skills including resolution management and follow up. Ability to manage complex incidents with minimal supervision

Candidate Requirements (Desirable)

Knowledge of Fiserv\xe2\x80\x99s acquiring products, platforms, systems, and operational areas a plus.

IPG payment platform and merchant integration using APIs

e-commerce transactions processing from merchant/acquiring side

IPG / Omnipay / B24 technical / functional knowledge
