Senior Business Analyst_Middleware Experience: 7 to 14 years Role Summary - The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the Middleware requirements from the stakeholders and convert them into BRDs for the implementation team. Roles & Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Senior Manager – Middleware, the senior business analysts are expected to drive the business requirement coordination of the new implementation and change needs for Oracle Middleware.
• Interface with the Business/vertical stakeholders to understand the requirements, document them and interact with the data lead to provide input to business requirements for the design of the solution.
• Takes effort to understand the data, relationship between app tables and documents transformation logic (Source to target mapping) to the minute detail for dev team to understand.
• Takes ownership to validate the Middleware team deliverable against the BRD as per project plan.
• Interacts regularly with the dev team to explain the requirements, the business and data rules applied through the transformation.
• Ability to identify the objective of the project and based on discussion with stakeholders, PMs create user stories that tag back to the final objective with correct prioritization.
• For migration of our legacy integration tools to new age integration platform, study the as-is process and document the same for dev team.
• Efficient in stakeholder management, communication and time management.
• Multi-tasker, work on multiple assignments at the same time.
• Works with the vendor and onshore solution architect for modifications and integrations to multiple applications like Oracle Retail, IBM Sterling OMS, Blue Yonder Solutions and Algonomy.
• Demonstrate agile, lean, continuous improvement practices throughout work method; develop capabilities within domains of interest.
• Meet KPI targets; support domain and cross domain needs.
• Discuss or present key subjects in user group sessions; support user adoption as needed.
• Provide inputs on best practices of solution design and governance.
• Hard working, Maintains positive attitude and momentum in challenging situations.
• Conducting user trainings as required.
• Individual contributor role.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience to Oracle Middleware mandatory. SOA, OSB, ODI, MFT, APIGW, OIC – All working knowledge preferred.
• Functional knowledge on Retail industry mandatory. Domain knowledge on Supply Chain, Omnichannel shopping, ecommerce, Order Management, Logistics preferred.
• Sound knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology: 3 Years
• Sound knowledge on delivery methodologies like Agile, Kan Ban etc.: 3 Years
• Business Analysis experience in several significant/ global projects
• Experience of working in a complex matrix environment with both internal and 3rd party resources.
• Practical experience of documenting business processes using specified process methodologies.
• Ability to rapidly and thoroughly understand the environment in which one will operate (people, applications, technology, process governance)
