Work Experience:10 Years : . The analyst must be able to work with the business, understand and translate the business requirements into technical requirements and provide solutions on business processes as well as the blackboard applications consulting. . Support faculty in developing and using courseware designed to engage students and achieve learning objectives. . Be able to provide support to Blackboard users, Learn, Content Collection, Outcomes, and Collaboration modules. . Respond to student and faculty phone calls and emails regarding ongoing Blackboard maintenance issues such as login, user accounts and password retrieval. . Conduct consultation sessions with faculty to support the creation and implementation of course customizations· Work with educational departments for user buy-in and support. . Produce documentation and movie tutorials related to all areas of Blackboard to support faculty, staff, and students and ·Provide Blackboard functional assistance to students, faculty, and staff. . Develop new training materials using instructional design theory and assist in modifying, enhancing, and updating the content of existing training materials. . Design and develop instruction on multiple platforms, conduct face-to-face, remote training sessions, and facilitation of small groups . Deep Understanding of the Middle East Higher Education Industry, Deep Understanding of the Business functions of Community College (Registrar, Bursar, Admissions, Controller, etc.,) . Overall technical responsibility for installing, operating, and maintaining Blackboard Learn. . Knowledge and experience in integration with Banner. . Enhance the Blackboard environment through the investigation and deployment of new technologies. . Perform application configuration, upgrades, patches and enhancement changes. . Analyze and assess existing procedures to allow the application to respond to business changes. . Evaluate requirements from functional specifications and create efficient technical designs.
