We are seeking a
Senior Accountant
with strong UAE experience to lead our financial operations and supervise our junior accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, project costing, budgeting, and strategic financial management to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
Final Account Closing:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual account closures.
Project Costing & Reporting:
Monitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare
project-wise profitability reports
.
Cash Flow Management:
Manage inflows and outflows to maintain liquidity and optimize working capital.
Weekly Budget Forecasting:
Prepare and update weekly budgets and forecasts to support management decisions.
Financial Statement Reporting:
Generate accurate
P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
for management review.
Internal Audit:
Conduct monthly internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Oversee payments, invoice review, reconciliations, and approvals.
VAT & Corporate Tax Compliance:
Ensure accurate filing and compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Supervise the junior accountant and review their work to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Implement and maintain
financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls
.
Provide
financial analysis and recommendations
to management for cost optimization and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field
(Master's preferred).
Minimum
5-10 years UAE experience
in accounting, preferably in
construction or contracting industries
.
Strong knowledge of
UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, labor-related financial compliance, and accounting standards
.
Proficient in
MS Office, Zoho Books, or similar accounting/ERP software
.
Excellent
leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
.
Strong communication skills in
English
.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
