Senior Accountant - Project Accounting
Good knowledge in all aspects of general and project accounting (incl month close activities, account reconciliation, revenue recognition, and client billings). Adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Responsible for execution of Project Accounting activities assigned to the team, including:
Cost booking/accrual and analysis
Preparation of client billings
Record inter company entries
Revenue recognition
Project reporting
Responsible for project month close activities and ensuring activities and project reporting deliverables are completed as per the calendar timelines and meet quality requirements
Work together with project manager and site team to manage financial records and requirements of assigned projects.
Support various internal and external communications relating to project accounting activities, responses to internal and external inquiries
Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the project accounting function, in accordance with records retention policies and procedures
Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Owner.
Reporting directly to General Manager/Owner.
Essential Qualifications & Education
At least degree in accounting or any related fields.
At least 5 years total experience with 3 years in construction field.
Must speak and write Arabic.
Arabic Nationality preferred.
