Senior Accountant

to join our growing team in Muscat.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will oversee the company's financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and provide essential support to management in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor, analyze, and interpret accounting data to generate financial reports. Ensure full compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements. Coordinate, prepare, and support annual audits. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Supervise, guide, and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of

10 years

of accounting experience, preferably within the car rental or automotive industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail with a strong sense of accuracy. Effective communication skills and proven leadership abilities.
