As a Senior Accountant & Administrative Coordinator, we are searching a qualified and experience candidate to build up the local accounting department for both our Retail & E-Commerce and Wholesale & Sales subsidiaries. Functional Reporting to the EMEA Finance Manager based in Paris and hierarchical to Operation Manager based in Dubai.
In a first step you will support the SAP core model roll out for the 2 entities with the HQ team, and perform to the various testing. When the accounting will be internalized, you will be working with another accounting profile and sharing the scope of work, back up each other and insure a consistent and accurate work.
These functions will necessarily evolve in order to respond, on the one hand, to the imperatives of adapting the company to its needs, and on the other hand, to the full development of the skills of the incumbent.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTING TASKS To ensure proper both external and internal local accounting procedures are adhered to. To deliver treasury tasks on schedule, i.e. Payments and Bank Reconciliations. Maintain our supplier & customer databases. Report Financial Reports in a timely manner according to LVMH guidelines using SYRUS and provide up-to-date analyses. Prepare annual accounting statement & coordinate audits. Guarantee tax declaration are in accordance to local regulations
HUMAN RESOURCES Support Regional Sales Director and HR Manager to manage local HR database; handle, collect and file employee and visa documents; keep record of annual leave, absenteeism and personal discounts
OFFICE MANAGEMENT In charge of overall office running like pay and file monthly bills and contracts; create suppliers\' data base, take care of supplier Invoices and payments; keep track of PR samples In/out; File and update of all company documents for Public Administration
INTERNAL CONTROL Make sure LVMH internal control accounting processes are applied for the two entities; manage LVMH self-assessment campaign ERICA and work with regional Finance team

PROFILE
AS AN IDEAL CANDIDATE YOU ARE
  • Certified in Accounting & Finance or have 10 years of accounting experience. Retail or E-Commerce accounting experience would be a plus and hold a degree
  • Experienced with Excel, SAP and Esker platforms.
  • a team oriented and motivated individual with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Thrive in dynamic environments and have continuously demonstrated a high level autonomy with your work.
  • Hands-on and enjoy tackling operational tasks.
  • You have lived in the UAE for minimum of 5 years and are familiar with local legal and commercial environment.
  • Fluent in English
