We are hiring Section Supervisors for the new opening of our Discount Centre. The Section Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their assigned section. As part of the management team, the supervisor oversees daily operations, staff performance, inventory control, sales targets, and customer service standards.

This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. The Section Supervisor also acts as a bridge between staff and management, ensuring effective communication and execution of company policies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the assigned section to ensure efficiency and productivity Manage, schedule, and evaluate section staff performance Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory and suppliers to prevent shortages or overstocking Maintain high customer service standards to enhance satisfaction and repeat business Ensure compliance with health, safety, and store regulations at all times Implement company policies and ensure staff adherence Analyze sales reports and recommend strategies to improve sales performance Handle customer complaints and issues professionally and promptly Coordinate with marketing teams for promotions and special offers Prepare operational and performance reports for management review Train, onboard, and guide new employees
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Supervisor in a Supermarket, Hypermarket, or Discount Centre Strong leadership and people-management skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good understanding of retail sales and customer service principles Proficiency in retail software, POS, or management systems is an advantage
