Tyers Section Supervisor

for our Heavy Machinery Workshop with

Off the Road Tyers

Responsibilities:

Conduct daily and periodic tyre inspections on company vehicles, trucks, buses, and heavy equipment. Check for abnormal wear, tread depth, air pressure, and physical damages (cuts, bulges, cracks, etc.). Use tyre pressure gauges, tread depth tools, and digital inspection systems to assess tyre condition. Report unsafe or worn-out tyres and recommend repair, retread, or replacement. Maintain accurate inspection logs, reports, and tyre history records. Monitor tyre inventory and assist in managing stock levels of tyres and related materials. Ensure tyres are fitted, balanced, and aligned according to manufacturer specifications. Follow all safety procedures and regulations during inspections and maintenance. Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely tyre replacements and repairs. Educate drivers/operators on tyre care and pre-trip tyre checks.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Technical Certification in Automotive or related field. Proven experience in tyre inspection, fitting, or maintenance

(minimum 2-3 years preferred on Off the Road Tyers ).

Knowledge of tyre brands, types, and applications

(light vehicles, trucks, heavy machinery).

Familiarity with tyre inspection tools and diagnostic equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify tyre-related safety risks. Basic computer literacy for data entry/reporting.

Must know to Speak English

Knowledge of Using Computer
