Tyer Section Supervisor

in our Central Workshop for Heavy Machinery .

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all tire-related activities within the Off-the-Road (OTR) tire section, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols. Manage tire inspection, repair, and replacement processes, guaranteeing optimal tire performance and minimizing downtime for heavy machinery. Supervise a team of tire technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality workmanship. Monitor tire inventory levels, manage stock, and place orders to maintain an adequate supply of tires for various equipment types. Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures, conducting regular safety audits and promoting a safe working environment. Analyze tire performance data, identify trends, and develop strategies to optimize tire life and reduce operational costs. Collaborate with maintenance teams and equipment operators to address tire-related issues and ensure efficient equipment utilization. Actively participate in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize tire section performance.

Requirements:

Boasts a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the Off-the-Road (OTR) tire industry, indicating a solid understanding of OTR tire operations. Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong technical foundation. Exhibits excellent knowledge of various OTR tire types, sizes, and applications, including tire selection and performance optimization. Displays proficiency in using tire repair equipment and tools, including tire inflation, mounting, and balancing. Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic) are advantageous, enhancing communication capabilities.
