Job Title: Section Head - Projects Development

As the Section Head - Projects Development within the Capital Projects Development Section, this role holds a pivotal leadership position in guiding the formulation and implementation of governance frameworks, while overseeing the strategic planning and development of distinctive, long-term, and sustainable capital projects.


A key responsibility of this role is to ensure that all capital projects are developed in alignment with urban planning principles, regulatory requirements, and the Emirate's overarching strategic plans. By integrating long-term sustainability considerations and development goals into project planning, the Section Head plays a central role in shaping initiatives that contribute meaningfully to Abu Dhabi's growth and future-readiness.


The role also involves developing and refining governance models that enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency across the project development lifecycle. This includes setting clear standards and procedures for project initiation, feasibility validation, planning coordination, and implementation readiness.


The Section Head collaborates closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project plans are well-integrated, forward-thinking, and strategically sound. By bridging policy, planning, and execution, the role helps drive consistency and alignment across government capital projects and ensures their long-term viability and impact.
