We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated

Director - Projects Controls and System Development

to join the

Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre

in

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

. This is a

full-time

position offering a competitive salary of

AED 66,000 - 66,500

. The Director will play a critical role in overseeing the development and implementation of project controls systems and processes, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery across the organisation. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of project management methodologies, cost control, risk management, and systems development. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals and contribute significantly to the successful execution of key infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of project controls systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organisational objectives.

Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.

Provide expert advice and guidance on project controls matters to project teams and senior management.

Monitor project performance against established baselines and identify potential deviations.

Develop and implement corrective actions to address project control issues and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Manage a team of project controls professionals, providing mentorship and development opportunities.

Collaborate with other departments to integrate project controls systems and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 9 years of experience in project controls, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in developing and implementing project controls systems and processes.

Expertise in cost control, risk management, and change management.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
