Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director - Projects Controls and System Development to join the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of AED 66,000 - 66,500. The Director will play a critical role in overseeing the development and implementation of project controls systems and processes, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery across the organisation. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of project management methodologies, cost control, risk management, and systems development. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals and contribute significantly to the successful execution of key infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of project controls systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organisational objectives.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on project controls matters to project teams and senior management.
• Monitor project performance against established baselines and identify potential deviations.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address project control issues and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage a team of project controls professionals, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate project controls systems and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in project controls, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing project controls systems and processes.
• Expertise in cost control, risk management, and change management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
