Secondary Physics Teacher
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Starting Date: August 2025
Curriculum: US with some UK and IBDP in Grades 11-12
Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: From 10,000 AED upwards depending on qualifications and experience, increasing by 250 AED increments for every year of experience up to a maximum of 14,000 AED (23 years experience).
• Accommodation: One-bed apartment provided in MBZ area (two-bed accommodation may be available for teaching couples or families). Accommodation allowance may be considered if city accommodation is preferred, but own transport to school will be required.
• Flights & Visa Support: Annual flights provided
• Medical Insurance: Medical Cover provided

Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the US curriculum, IGCSE, or IB requirements
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success

Additional Duties:

• Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education or Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject plus a PGCE (or equivalent)
• Candidates with 1-2 years of experience upwards preferred, however, strong newly qualified teachers may be considered
• Excellent communication skills (previous experience in an EAL environment is welcomed)
