About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our commercial initiatives in the Qatar oil and gas market. This role offers the opportunity to drive business growth, expand market presence, and develop strategic partnerships within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Development
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the Qatar oil and gas market
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key industry players and stakeholders
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects
Client Relationship Management
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with major clients, contractors, and operators
Conduct regular client engagement activities and account reviews
Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management
Marketing & Brand Development
Create and implement targeted marketing campaigns for the local oil and gas sector
Develop compelling marketing materials, proposals, and presentations
Enhance brand visibility and positioning within the regional market
Market Intelligence & Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in Qatar
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Conduct competitive analysis and identify market opportunities
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team
Collaborate with internal departments (operations, technical, finance) to ensure seamless execution
Set performance targets and track KPIs
Business Development
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities
Prepare tender proposals and commercial bids
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field
MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification (preferred)
Experience
Minimum 7-10 years in sales and marketing roles within industrial sectors in Qatar, including oil & gas, power and utilities.
Track record of successfully closing B2B deals and generating revenue growth
Experience with major oil and gas operators, contractors, or service providers
Demonstrated success in market entry or business expansion initiatives
Technical & Professional Skills
In-depth knowledge of the Qatar oil and gas sector, market dynamics, and key players
Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, services, and supply chain
Proficiency in salesforce systems and sales management tools
Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
Strategic thinking and business acumen
