Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance
Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
Set KPIs, track performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
Conduct training sessions to strengthen product expertise and negotiation skills.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.
3. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and consultants.
Support the team in high-value negotiations and project closures.
Ensure client satisfaction through responsive service and support.
4. Recruitment & Development
Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales professionals.
Encourage continuous learning and career advancement within the team.
5. Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and building materials sector.
Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
Work closely with operations and logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Sales Reporting & Analytics
Track and analyze sales performance to highlight risks and opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare reports for senior management.
Recommend corrective actions to improve sales effectiveness.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a senior sales leadership role within the building materials/construction industry.
Strong background in project sales of tiles, marble, paints, lighting, sanitaryware, or related products.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
