Position Summary
The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales operations for medical consumables and surgical packs in the Qatar market. The ideal candidate must have
minimum 5 years of proven experience in Qatar
, strong communication and relationships with Hamad Medical Corporation (H MC), excellent leadership skills, and a solid understanding of medical procurement channels and healthcare regulations. This role requires developing business strategies, driving sales growth, and managing key accounts while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
:
1. Sales & Business Development
Drive sales growth for medical consumables and surgical packs across Qatar.
Identify new business opportunities within government and private healthcare sectors.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
2. Key Account Management
Maintain and strengthen strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
Serve as the main contact point for government hospitals, clinics, and procurement teams.
Manage tender submissions, quotations, and contract negotiations.
3. Market & Competitor Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities.
Provide regular market feedback to management to support decision-making.
4. Leadership & Team Management
Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve sales objectives.
Provide coaching, training, and performance monitoring for team members.
Ensure alignment of team activities with company goals.
5. Operational & Administrative Responsibilities
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations and procurement guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Qatar's medical consumables field.
Strong communication and working relationship with
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Valid Qatar driving license.
Knowledge of tendering processes, healthcare procurement, and medical product regulations.
Preferred Attributes
