Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven

Heavy lift & Heavy Transport Sales Manager

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities in the Heavy Lifting and Heavy Transport sector, with a strong focus on project-based logistics solutions. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales lifecycle--from lead generation and qualification, through to proposal development, contract negotiation, and seamless project handover. Success in this role demands a deep understanding of technical lifting operations, specialized transport, and rigging methodologies, as well as the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



Business Development:



Identify potential clients, projects, and market segments across the Middle East. Develop and implement client acquisition strategies to expand the company's footprint in target sectors including Oil & Gas, Power, Renewables, and Infrastructure.

Client Relationship Management:



Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand project requirements and offer tailored solutions.

Sales Management:



Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through to final contract signature. Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals in collaboration with the Tendering and Engineering departments. Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals on a monthly and annual basis.

Project Coordination Support:



Coordinate closely with internal departments (Tendering, Operations, Engineering) to ensure timely and accurate project delivery. Provide commercial support during project execution to resolve issues and maintain client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence:



Monitor market trends, competitors' activities, and pricing to support strategic decision-making. Represent Hareket at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Reporting & Documentation:



Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions through CRM systems. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline status.

Qualifications:



Education:



Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related technical discipline. MBA or sales certification is an advantage.

Experience:



Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales within the heavy lifting, heavy transport, or project logistics sectors.

Industry Knowledge:



Solid understanding of heavy lifting equipment (cranes, jacking systems) and transport solutions (SPMTs, modular trailers, barging). Familiarity with project execution environments such as fabrication yards, refineries, power plants, and EPC contractors.

Skills:



Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Technical understanding of engineered transport and lifting Excellent communication and presentation skills Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Monday.com)

Preferred Experience:



Experience working in the Middle East and/or Africa regions Knowledge of public and private sector procurement processes Existing network within EPCs, project developers, and industrial clients

Other Requirements:



Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings, site visits, and project discussions Valid UAE driver's license is mandatory
