Imperium Commodity Search has a new opportunity for an experienced chartering manager within the heavy lift sector to join an international business with expansion plans into Saudi Arabia. The company already operates multiple global offices within Europe and the Middle East. With expertise in operating and chartering heavy lift vessels and Semi-Submersible Heavy Lift Vessels Globally the company is seeking an experienced Charterer who has experience working within the UAE and relations with the Saudi market.

Responsibilities:

• Build strong relations with Clients within UAE and Saudi Markets.
• Responsible for Chartering heavy lift vessels and SSHLV (Semi-Submersible Heavy Lift Vessels) across the UAE/Saudi Arabia and GCC Region.
• Build relations with both clients and ship owners with the heavy lift sector to actively promote the company's specialist business.
• Negotiate margins and costings for the charter of marine vessels with a focus on heavy lift vessels.
• Manage day to day charter routes across the Middle East for these specialist vessels.
• Experienced in managing clients within numerous sectors (Oil & Gas, Construction etc) to understand customer requirements.
• Communication with Vessel operators, Captains, Port authorities and dealing with post fixture requirements.

Experience:

• Experience in chartering of heavy lift and SSHLV vessels.
• Previous experience in dealing with clients and ship owners with the Oil & Gas and construction industry
• Key understanding of the local UAE and Saudi ports is essential.
• Travel required to meet with International clients looking to bring business across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent understanding of chartering/specialist heavy lift vessels.
