Overview of the role: This is a key position to assist the Head of Honda Sales & Marketing to promote Honda new car retail sales through Honda showroom. This business is expected to grow extensively in the Qatar market in the near future as the new car market grows with the population expected to grow towards the World Cup 2022. Opportunities must be maximised through an exceptional customer experience when visiting our showrooms.
The retail part of the Honda business needs to grow to reduce the high fleet ratio.
What you will do:
 Achievement of showroom monthly sales targets for Honda new cars and Honda used cars  Grow the retail business to reduce the ratio of fleet  CSI  Utilisation of FastTrack  Ensure the showroom is representative of the Honda brand.  Control of demo cars to ensure these are used effectively to help close sales, are always in acceptable condition and are sold at the appropriate time  Minimise in-house credit risk by ensuring correct documentation is submitted, and assisting credit department with collections when necessary
Required Skills to be successful:
This position is critical for managing sales of the retail showroom through staff KPI’s and visual appearance of the showroom. Focus must be on driving retail sales and increase the proportion of retail sales. The showroom manager will provide a major support to the Head of Sales & Marketing in the daily operations of the showroom.
What equips you for the role:
Either Diploma or Bachelor degree.
At least 5 years Automotive Sales experience, at least 3 of those in a management position of a large showroom.
Job-Specific Skills:
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking (English and Arabic)
Behavioural Competencies :
Excellent coaching skills and ability to develop staff and customer engagement
Ability to engage with many different customers (different levels, nationalities, cultures)
Positive attitude and must exude enthusiasm and passion
