Sales Manager – Building Materials (project Sales)

Job Description

We are seeking a

dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager

to lead our

project sales division

in the building materials sector. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, strong knowledge of the construction industry, and a successful track record in driving sales growth while managing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Performance



Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets. Define KPIs, monitor team performance, and provide coaching and feedback. Conduct training sessions to enhance product knowledge and negotiation skills. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution



Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth goals. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.

3. Client Relationship Management



Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and consultants. Support the team in high-value negotiations and project closures. Ensure client satisfaction through timely service and support.

4. Recruitment & Development



Recruit, onboard, and train new sales professionals. Promote continuous learning, career growth, and team development.

5. Business Development



Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and building materials sector. Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and strengthen brand presence. Coordinate with operations and logistics for seamless project execution.

6. Sales Reporting & Analytics



Track and analyze sales performance to identify risks and opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare reports for senior management. Recommend corrective actions to maximize sales effectiveness.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a

Sales Manager

or similar leadership role in the

building materials/construction sector

. Expertise in project sales of

tiles, marble, paints, lighting, sanitaryware, or related products

. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred). Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
