ABOUT ROLE
Sales & Estimation Engineer (Interiors & Fit Out) (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) is a critical position with wider responsibilities. He/she will have the responsibility of handlign end-to-end activities involved in the interior fit out project which includes & not limited to lead generation, client meetings, requirement gathering, site survey, project estimation, client service, sales / business closing, project execution monitoring, professional communication, documentation and as a single point of contact for the client until the project completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales, Requirement Gathering, BOQ Preparation & Estimation:
Create new sales / leads for Interiors, Fit Out Works, MEP, Civil & HVAC targeting B2C/B2B customers
Single point of contact for all Client communications (Receiving and handling inquiries by telephone calls and emails from customers)
Organizing the site visits with clients based on the enquiries
Make necessary preparations before the site visit (e.g. Questionnaires)
Proper requirement gathering & scope preparation
Risk identification & reporting
BOQ preparation based on the requirement gathered, risks identified & scope of work.
Estimate cost & time for the BOQ & scope of work identified
Identify the work force requirement for the project & communicate in advance internally
Preparation of project proposals & quotations
Documentation of the material/activity pricing & risks for future use
Follow-ups, negotiations and closing of sales
Get client feedbacks, Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business
Regular sales status updates to Management
Set and achieve sales goal
Project/Work Coordination, Communication & Reporting:
Communicate & get confirmation of project scope & price from Supplier (Get formal quote)
Communicate & get confirmation of the work force availability & schedule
Communicate regularly with Client on the Project Status (Start to End)
Make sure all the communications and agreements with Supplier & Client are formal
Provide weekly updates to the Management on all the activities
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)
1 to 5 years of experience in Interiors/Fit out/Joinery as Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Site Supervising & Project Management
Key competencies:
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English and a Confident speaker
Good understanding on the Business Activities & Sales Activities
Solid knowledge in the Interior Fit out - Civil Works, Electrcial, Plumbing, HVAC Works & Project Coordination
Hands on experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience in using computers, internet, search engines like google & AI tools like Chat GPT
Other skills and abilities:

Excellent time management & communication skills
Service-minded, pro-active & positive attitude
Self-driven, Logical Thinking
Works well with all personality types (A good team player)
Must have knowledge & understanding on estimations, BOQ preparations and pricing
Excellent communication, negotiations, and closing skills
Sales oriented, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Must have experience in working on Target based technical sales
