The Role

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Assistant to join our expanding team in the steel trading industry. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our sales team, helping to maintain customer relationships, drive sales efforts, and ensure a seamless purchase experience for our clients. Responsibilities: - Assist the sales team in daily operations and administrative tasks. - Support in processing customer orders and inquiries efficiently and accurately. - Maintain and update customer database and sales records. - Prepare quotations and sales reports as needed. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service. - Coordinate with logistics for timely product deliveries. - Obtain and verify necessary information to process letters of credit. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations and standards and UAE regulations.



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. - 1-2 years of experience in handling letters of credit or related financial transactions. - 2 years experience as sales assistant in the steel trading industry is a plus. - Deep understanding of Incoterms. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software. - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Japanese is a plus. - A proactive attitude with a passion for meeting and exceeding targets.
