Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills is looking to strengthen our team with a passionate Sales and Events Executive
We are proud of our 481-room hotel (90 suites) overlooking the Trump Golf Course, within the DAMAC Hills Community in Dubai Land. To create many a memorable moment for our guests, we will have 4 F&B outlets - Fire Lake Grill restaurant, Hessa St. Kitchen- serving authentic Asian favourites a la carte, Hills Pool Deck and also Issei a trendy Nikkei fusion restaurant & bar, at our rooftop. In addition to the above, we also have 4 meeting & event spaces and a busy in-room dining service.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales and Events Executive:
xc2xb7Answer telephone and respond to caller inquiries in a pleasant manner for events.
xc2xb7Answer guest/corporate questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants etc.)
xc2xb7Serve as the point of contact for guests and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests for their events including conducting show arounds.
xc2xb7Responsible for coordinating internally with the sales & marketing team.
xc2xb7Generating reports, preparing proposals, collections details , coordinating with guests & suppliers.
xc2xb7Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, banquet event orders ,long stay contracts)
xc2xb7Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g. brochures, promotional materials, sales demo kit, welcome kit, souvenir etc.).
xc2xb7Generate group and/or corporate leads through internet prospecting, networking, and telemarketing.
Requirements of the Sales and Events Executive:
xc2xb7Assist sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information.
xc2xb7Arrange and co-ordinate meetings, events and any appointments.
xc2xb7Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.
xc2xb7Meets with clients in the absence of the Director of Sales or Sales Managers to effectively and professionally convey details of the sale to the client.
xc2xb7Perform hotel site inspections with potential clients.
xc2xb7Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications.
xc2xb7Design, upload, extract and maintain customer databases.
xc2xb7Create and manage Company and Travel Agent profiles on the property management system.
xc2xb7Should know the process of merging profiles.
xc2xb7Load and Manage Rate Codes to the Hotel Software, And link the negotiated rates to the correct company profiles.
xc2xb7File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
xc2xb7Conduct research and collect data to prepare reports and documents.
xc2xb7Utilizes efficient sales strategy for the maximization of hotel revenue.
xc2xb7Coordinates necessary arrangements with vendors relating to sales.
xc2xb7Establishes strong relationships with vendors to ensure maximization of hotel revenue.
xc2xb7Ensures all documents produced by the Sales Department (i.e. BEOs, contracts, rooming lists, proposals) are completed accurately and on time.
xc2xb7Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
xc2xb7Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material are available at all times.
xc2xb7Other duties as assigned by Director or sales or the management.
Prerequisites:
xc2xb7Speak with others using clear and professional language.
xc2xb7Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
xc2xb7Working knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures.
xc2xb7Excellent customer service skills.
xc2xb7Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
xc2xb7Be friendly, customer centric, smile and able to work in a team environment.
Education:
Diploma or degree in business management, Good computer skills; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access) and Knowledge of sales and marketing modules like Delphi, Opera S&M, Protel S&M etc.
Experience:
Two or more years of experience working in a hotel, clerical or sales. Previous experience working in a similar role.
