About the Job
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and highly motivated sales and account assistant to join our HAY team.
Based in Dubai, the sales and account assistant role forms part of the Middle East, Africa and UK team, referring to the Head of Regional Sales UK, IE, MEA.
Your role will be to efficiently support the MEA sales team, executing the day to day sales and account administration, in support of business growth and objectives, whilst being an expert brand ambassador to all A&D, dealer, and end-user clients that may visit the showroom we share with MillerKnoll. The position is an important link between the MEA sales team, HQ in Denmark, and the HAY dealer network across the MEA region.
Providing a high level of support to the MEA sales team, dealers, and A&D clients your responsibilities will include:
Responding to customer specific enquiries
Processing of quotations: deliver accurate quotations in a timely manner, communicating project and product-specific requirements
Project management: high understanding of internal and external stakeholders keeping them updated of any changes
Sample co-ordination & distribution
Coordination and management of all consignment stock and mock-up requests
Coordinating the communication and workflow between our dealers, customers, and the internal HQ departments: production, compliance, sales support, logistics etc
Emailing of HAY campaigns, pricelists, news to MEA dealer network
Filtering and response to all emails associated to HAY online requests
Trade application process: facilitate a prompt and thorough review of all trade applications, complete account set up for new accounts
Work closely within the team to support growth and optimise business opportunities
Creation of product proposal presentations/BOQ\xe2\x80\x99s in alignment with the MEA sales team
Ensuring the CRM pipeline is up to date
Planning and coordination of HAY events within the MEA region
Management of MEA stocks and event giveaways
UAE sample kit checks in alignment with product launches and discontinuation
Ad-hoc A&D meetings within the UAE if the Export Sales Manager is travelling
Other important tasks within this role:
Direct customer contact
Ad-hoc meetings with clients in HAY / MillerKnoll showroom
Developing a close relation HAY MEA dealers
Identifying new business opportunities
Inspire, counselling, follow up and customer care
Close contact to sales operation in Denmark
