About the Role

We are urgently seeking a Safety Representative (HSE Officer) to join our team in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing workplace safety, enforcing HSE policies, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Conduct and lead Toolbox Talks and weekly safety meetings with workers, foremen, and engineers.

Identify potential hazards, implement corrective actions, and follow up on non-conformities.

Enforce the use of PPE and safe work practices across all projects.

Report safety violations, accidents, and near misses in a timely and professional manner.

Coordinate with management and HSE authorities to ensure full alignment with regulations.

Maintain proper records, safety logs, and documentation as per company and legal requirements.

Requirements

Solid background in construction HSE operations within the UAE.

Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety practices and UAE labour law requirements.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with multi-level teams.

Ability to work under pressure and enforce compliance effectively.

Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) are preferred.
