Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated

Safety Officer

to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have

3-5 years of experience

in construction or engineering projects and must hold a valid

Trakhees accreditation

. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all activities on site are compliant with UAE safety regulations and best practices.

Respnsibilities:

Enforce implementation of health and safety policies in accordance with UAE labor laws and local authority regulations (including Trakhees). Conduct regular safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments. Monitor and ensure safe practices across construction activities and site operations. Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for workers, subcontractors, and site visitors. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; report findings and recommend preventive measures. Maintain accurate records of safety reports, incidents, training, and audits. Coordinate with Trakhees and other relevant authorities for inspections, approvals, and certifications. Promote a safety-conscious culture throughout the project site.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

3-5 years

of proven experience as a Safety Officer in the UAE construction or engineering industry.

Trakhees accreditation

is

mandatory

. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE legislation and local authority compliance requirements. Excellent communication, observation, and report-writing skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple safety tasks simultaneously.
