Ensure to apply standards of RYA, DMCA, FTA and Sea School standard of training at all times
Ensure to have updated license and certificates as RYA Powerboat Instructor
Responsible for the welfare of all students during the training
Successfully train, evaluate and certify student to meet the standards for these certifications and endorsement
Managing/Assisting with the delivery of both land and on-water activities for all courses
To acquire additional information on effective teaching techniques, skills and methods and pass the information on to all instructors
Perform effective communications, demonstrations, command and control
Demonstrate a professional attitude and conduct at all times during our outside training
Gain understanding of the practical skills and knowledge required for all courses offered
Have a working knowledge of the Cruising Powerboat certification system
To ensure the safety and safeguarding of all trainees, providing supervision, rescue and safety facilities as required.
To liaise with external parties, governing bodies and partners (RYA, DMCA, FTA ) as required
Preparing classroom, training boat and all needed facilities prior to the scheduled training
Informing students of changes to lessons due to bad weather
Assessing student's abilities
Recording and reporting accidents or boat damage if any
Update Training syllabus as per RYA standard
